How to care for your piercing:  Always maintain a clean atmosphere around your new piercing remembering to wash your hands with antibacterial soap before touching or cleaning. Keep clothing and bedsheets clean.

Clean piercing 3-4 times daily with non-scented, antibacterial/antimicrobial soap OR saline solution/non-iodized sea salt and warm water with a mix of 1/8-1/4 teaspoon of salt in 8oz cup. Wash both sides daily and remove all buildup on jewelry until piercing is healed. Rotate the jewelry only during washing, rinsing the soap thoroughly from piercing and jewelry. Wash gently immediately anytime piercing gets pulled or moved severely.

ORAL piercings-Dissolve a mix of 1/8-1/4 teaspoon of non-iodized sea salt in 8oz cup of warm water. Rinse mouth for 30 seconds after meals and at bedtime 4-5 times daily during entire healing period.

Care of infected piercing: Wash hands. Clean jewelry and piercing gently with soap or saline solution and warm water. Partially fill a small clean container such as a shot glass with HYDROGEN PEROXIDE and cover the piercing and jewelry and leave in place until peroxide has had sufficient time to saturate the piercing. Do this no more than 3 times a week when necessary. An infection is possibly present if bubbles form around the jewelry and piercing. Do not use any ointments at this time. To get the best results from our efforts please do your part and protect your new piercing by following these instructions. We hope you enjoy your new body adornment. If at any time you are in doubt and feel you must seek immediate medical attention for your piercing(s) do not hesitate to do so.
